Kaishu Story raised over $50 million in Series C round

On July 22nd, the well-known children's content education brand “Kaishu Story” closed its Series C round of over 50 million US dollars led by Baidu and followed by New Oriental, TAL, and Kunyan Capital with China Taihecap as the exclusive financial advisor. In this round, New Oriental, the lead investor in the company’s Series B round, and Kunyan Capital, the lead investor in the Series B+ round, continued to follow as the old shareholders, which is sufficient to show that the potential market value in top-notch children's contents is recognized by investors.

After raising 156 million yuan in the Series B+ round, “Kaishu Story” continued to create top-notch children’s contents, and to bring out the educational attributes contained in stories. In a happy state, children can acquire knowledge about poetry, famous books, history, science by listening to stories. In the past five years, 'Kai Shu Story' APP has broadcasted more than 9,000 contents. Stories on the APP have been listened to for more than 4 billion times. The average daily listening time of users has reached 50 minutes and the total number of users of 'Kai Shu Story' has exceeded 30 million.
